Worked On: Developed the campaign from start to finish, design, social strategy, email marketing, and helped with an in-person event.
The Challenge: Develop a media campaign to garner donations through the 24-hour giving period.
Summary: My first assignment for the Mexican American Council as a Communications Manager was to create and execute Give Miami Day. For the first time in the organization’s history, we generated over $5,000 during Give Miami Day to support arts education, provide students with college scholarships, and program development within the community.
Give Miami Day is an annual giving movement uniting nonprofits - big and small, new and established - to celebrate and increase generosity in Greater Miami through online giving.
